What Can We Engrave?
The possibilities are almost endless, but here are some of the most popular items we engrave at our Exeter showroom:
- Wedding & Engagement Rings: The classic choice. Popular inscriptions include the wedding date, the partner’s initials, or a short phrase like “Always” or “I do.”
- Watches: The case back of a watch is the perfect canvas for a message. It is a traditional gift for graduations or retirements.
- Lockets & Pendants: A name on the front, or a date on the back.
- Cufflinks: Usually engraved with initials to add a touch of sophistication to formal wear.
- Bangles & ID Bracelets: Perfect for longer messages or medical information.
A Note on Plated Jewellery: We generally recommend engraving on solid metals (Gold, Silver, Platinum). Engraving plated jewellery can cut through the surface layer, revealing the different coloured base metal underneath, which often leads to a poor aesthetic finish. We will always inspect your item first and advise if it is suitable for engraving.
